The 'Morning Mist ' for Younger Kids
11am daily Memorial Day - Labor Day.
This family rafting trip is the perfect combination of fun, adventure, and safety for younger kids and their families. It's also great
for beginners up to age 11.
ALL of our guides are CPR and First Aid certified, ALWAYS carry First Aid kids and a cell phone (for 911 needed calls). We are the only outfitters on the 'Tuck' that do this for our families!
Kids as young as age 4 can go on this trip. Kids under the age of 7 should be comfortable with water and a little bit of a go-getter. Age 7 and up usually do well unless they are really apprehensive. Older kids, even teens, can have a great time on the trip. Older kids may want to choose a Ducky solo to add adventure to the trip for them.
It's definitely whitewater, but definitely not big whitewater. Bounce and churn through fun and exciting (but forgiving) rapids like Papa Bear, Moonshot, Double Drop, Slingshot, Surfing Rapid and Sharks Tooth

Trip Two
'Fun Run' 230pm offered most days.
The 'Fun Run' goes down the same stretch of the Tuckaseigee River, just later in the day.
Raft the same fun and exciting rapids as our 'Morning Mist' trip, only in the afternoons. Weather often becomes a little cloudy with a
shower likely on the later part of this trip. This is not a big deal for older and/or more adventurous kids, but can be a problem with younger
kids. You get our "Make-up Rafting Trip Guarantee" on this trip.
Minimum age on this trip is age 7. This trip is not for younger kids and it is not for anyone apprehensive about rafting because of the weather.
This is a great trip for older kids and adults to try an inflatable kayak (aka ducky or funyak).

Guides

All our trips are guide-assisted with helpful, friendly guides who love the outdoors and are great with kids. We have a guide for about every 8 guests.
Guides are along, but not normally in your boat. They are in solo boats--leading, following, helping out. They are always on the river with you.
You can pay extra (minimum $35) to guarantee a guide in your boat.
